Vincent Butler seconded the motion and spoke in support of Mr. Dowd’s views. The motion was unanimously adopted. The new President-General, Francis J. Quinlan, having arrived, the Chairman appointed Rev. John J. McCoy, LL. D., T. Vincent Butler, Esq., and S. J. O’Sullivan, Esq., to wait upon the incoming President-General and escort him to the chair.
