Translation

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Ibn Al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws having said: ‘The wife of Usman Bin Mazoun came over to the Prophetsaww, so she said, ‘O Rasool-Allahsaww! Usman tends to Fast during the day, and he stands (for the Prayer) during the night’. So Rasool-Allahsaww went out angered, carrying hissaww slippers until hesaww came over to Usman, and hesaww found him Praying. So when Usman saw Rasool-Allahsaww he finished it. So hesaww said: ‘O Usman! Allahazwj the Exalted did not Send mesaww with the monasticism, but Heazwj Sent mesaww with the straightness, and the ease, and the tolerance. Isaww Fast, and Isaww Pray, and Isaww touch mysaww wife. So the one who loves mysaww nature, so let him adopt a way with mysaww Sunnah, and from mysaww Sunnah is the marriage’.
