قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) النِّسَاءُ عَيٌّ وَ عَوْرَةٌ فَاسْتُرُوا الْعَوْرَاتِ بِالْبُيُوتِ وَ اسْتُرُوا الْعِيَّ بِالسُّكُوتِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umer, from Hisham Bin Salim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The women are inarticulate and exposed, therefore veil the exposure with the houses, and veil their inability to express themselves with the silence’.
