John Shaqi

مَا كَانَ فِي شِيعَتِنَا فَلَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِمْ ثَلَاثَةُ أَشْيَاءَ مَنْ يَسْأَلُ فِي كَفِّهِ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِمْ أَزْرَقُ أَخْضَرُ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِيهِمْ مَنْ يُؤْتَى فِي دُبُرِهِ .


Translation

Ahmad, from Ali Bin Asbaat, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Whatever there was among our<sup>asws</sup> Shias, but there will never come to be among them three things – the one who begs in his hand; and there will never be among them a blue-eyed, a green-eyed; and they would not come to be among them the one who invites others to his behind’.
