John Shaqi

سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ النَّظَرُ سَهْمٌ مِنْ سِهَامِ إِبْلِيسَ مَسْمُومٌ وَ كَمْ مِنْ نَظْرَةٍ أَوْرَثَتْ حَسْرَةً طَوِيلَةً .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazzal, from Ali Bin Uqba, from his father, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The (lustful) look is a poisoned arrow from the poisoned arrows of Iblees<sup>la</sup>, and how many from the looks have caused prolonged regrets’.
