قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْوَلَدُ الصَّالِحُ رَيْحَانَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ قَسَمَهَا بَيْنَ عِبَادِهِ وَ إِنَّ رَيْحَانَتَيَّ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا الْحَسَنُ وَ الْحُسَيْنُ سَمَّيْتُهُمَا بِاسْمِ سِبْطَيْنِ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ شَبَّراً وَ شَبِيراً .

علی بن ابراہیم نے، اپنے والد سے، النوفلی سے، السکونی سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: 'نیک اولاد اللہ کی طرف سے ایک خوشبودار پھول ہے جسے اس نے اپنے بندوں میں تقسیم کیا ہے۔ اور بے شک دنیا سے میرے دو ریحانے حسن اور حسین ہیں۔ میں نے ان دونوں کو بنی اسرائیل کے دو نواسوں کے نام سے نام دیا: شبر اور شبیر۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The righteous boy is an aromatic flower from Allah<sup>azwj</sup> being Distributed between His<sup>azwj</sup> servants, and my<sup>saww</sup> two aromatic flowers from the world are Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> and Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup>. I<sup>saww</sup> named both of them<sup>asws</sup> by the name of the grandsons from the Children of Israel, Shabbar and Shabbir’.
