سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ أَ وَاجِبَةٌ هِيَ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَاجِبَةٌ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ismail Bin Marrar, from Yunus, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the <span class="iTxt">Aqeeqa</span>, is it Obligatory?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, Obligatory’.
