سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ فَقَالَ فِي الذَّكَرِ وَ الْأُنْثَى سَوَاءٌ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at who said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the <span class="iTxt">Aqeeqa</span>, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Regarding the male and the female, is the same’.
