John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ مَوْلُودٍ يُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ بَعْدَ يَوْمِ السَّابِعِ فَقَالَ إِذَا مَضَى سَبْعَةُ أَيَّامٍ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ حَلْقٌ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Al Amraky Bin Ali, (It has been narrated) from Ali son of Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, from his brother<sup>asws</sup> Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> (7<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>), said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the new-born, should one shave off his head after the seventh day?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When the seven days pass by, so the shaving (of the head) is not upon him’.
