سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِذَا طَلَّقَ الرَّجُلُ امْرَأَتَهُ وَ أَشْهَدَ شَاهِدَيْنِ عَدْلَيْنِ فِي قُبُلِ عِدَّتِهَا فَلَيْسَ لَهُ أَنْ يُطَلِّقَهَا حَتَّى تَنْقَضِيَ عِدَّتُهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يُرَاجِعَهَا .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibn Azina, from Bukeyr who said, ‘I heard Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> sayig: ‘When the man divorces his wife, and two just witnesses witness it prior to her waiting period, so it is not for him that he should divorce her until she has completed her waiting period, except if he reverts to her’.
