John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ بَعْدَ مَا وَلَدَتْ وَ طَهُرَتْ وَ هِيَ امْرَأَةٌ لَا تَرَى دَماً مَا دَامَتْ تُرْضِعُ مَا عِدَّتُهَا قَالَ ثَلَاثَةُ أَشْهُرٍ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Nasr, from Dawood Bin Al Husayn, from Abu Al Abbas who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about a man who divorced his wife after having given birth, and purified, and she is a woman who does not see blood for as long as she breast-feeds. What is her waiting period?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Three months’.
