وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ فِي الرَّجُلِ يُعْتِقُ أَمَتَهُ فَيَجْعَلُ عِتْقَهَا مَهْرَهَا ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقُهَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلَ بِهَا قَالَ تَرُدُّ عَلَيْهِ نِصْفَ قِيمَتِهَا تُسْتَسْعَى فِيهَا.
Translation
And by this chain – Regarding the man who emancipates (liberates) his slave girl, so he makes her emancipation as her dower. Then he divorces her before he sleeps with her. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘She would return to him half of her price. She would have to work with regards to it’.
