إِنْ جَاءَ شَاهِدَا عَدْلٍ فَلَا تَعْتَدَّ وَ إِلَّا فَلْتَعْتَدَّ مِنْ يَوْمِ يَبْلُغُهَا .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Shuayb Bin Yaqoub, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having been asked about the divorced woman, her husband divorces her but he does not let her know except after a year. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If two just witnesses come up so she should not observe the waiting period, or else let her observe it from the day it (news) reaches her’.
