Translation

Humeyd, from Ibn Sama’at, from Muhammad Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Ayoub, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘A woman who came over to Abu Abdullahasws to seek a verdict regarding the spending of a night in other than her own house, and her husband had died. So heasws said: ‘In the Pre-Islamic period, when a husband of a woman died, his wife would mourn over him for twelve months. So when Allahazwj Sent Muhammadsaww, was Merciful on their weak ones, so Heazwj Made their waiting period being of four months and ten (days), and you all are not being patient upon this?’
