John Shaqi

رَجُلٍ يَجْعَلُ أَمْرَ امْرَأَتِهِ إِلَى رَجُلٍ فَقَالَ اشْهَدُوا أَنِّي قَدْ جَعَلْتُ أَمْرَ فُلَانَةَ إِلَى فُلَانٍ فَيُطَلِّقُهَا أَ يَجُوزُ ذَلِكَ لِلرَّجُلِ قَالَ نَعَمْ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, and Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, altogether from Ali Bin Al Nu’man, from Saeed Al A’raj, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man making a matter of his wife to a man, so he  said, ‘Bear witness that I have made a matter of so and so woman to so and so man’. So he (the representative) divorced her. Is that allowed for the man?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes’.
