سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ عَنْ قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ هُدايَ فَلا يَضِلُّ وَ لا يَشْقى قَالَ مَنْ قَالَ بِالْأَئِمَّةِ وَ اتَّبَعَ أَمْرَهُمْ وَ لَمْ يَجُزْ طَاعَتَهُمْ .

الحسین بن محمد، معلیٰ بن محمد سے، السیاری سے، علی بن عبداللہ سے، جنہوں نے کہا: ایک شخص نے ان سے ارشادِ باری تعالیٰ کے بارے میں پوچھا: پھر جو میری ہدایت کی پیروی کرے گا، وہ نہ گمراہ ہوگا اور نہ بدبخت ہوگا۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: وہ شخص جو ائمہ عليهم السلام کی تصدیق کرے، ان کے حکم کی پیروی کرے، اور ان کی اطاعت سے تجاوز نہ کرے۔
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Sayyari, from Ali Bin Abdullah who said, ‘A man asked about the Words of the Exalted <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:20#h123"><a href="/books/quran:20#h123">[20:123]</a></a> then whoever follows My Guidance, he shall not go astray nor be distressed</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The one who acknowledges the Imams<sup>asws</sup> and follows their<sup>asws</sup> orders and do not exceed their<sup>asws</sup> obedience’.
