سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) قُلْتُ لَهُ أَصْلَحَكَ اللَّهُ كَيْفَ الْمُلَاعَنَةُ قَالَ فَقَالَ يَقْعُدُ الْإِمَامُ وَ يَجْعَلُ ظَهْرَهُ إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ وَ يَجْعَلُ الرَّجُلَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَ الْمَرْأَةَ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ .
Translation
Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr who said, ‘I asked Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup>, I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘May Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Keep you<sup>asws</sup> well! How is the cursing?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Imam<sup>asws</sup> would be seated and make his<sup>asws</sup> back towards the <span class="iTxt">Qiblah</span>, and he<sup>asws</sup> would make the man to be upon his<sup>asws</sup> right, and the woman to be upon his<sup>asws</sup> left (facing the <span class="iTxt">Qiblah</span>)’.
