سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَفْتَرِي عَلَى امْرَأَتِهِ قَالَ يُجْلَدُ ثُمَّ يُخَلَّى بَيْنَهُمَا وَ لَا يُلَاعِنُهَا حَتَّى يَقُولَ أَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَأَيْتُكِ تَفْعَلِينَ كَذَا وَ كَذَا .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad, from Hareyz, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the man who forges (a lie) upon his wife. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He would be whipped, then there would be loosening between the two of them, and they would not be cursing each other until he is saying, ‘I saw you doing such and such’.
