تَعَالَى قُولُوا آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَ ما أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْنا قَالَ إِنَّمَا عَنَى بِذَلِكَ عَلِيّاً ( عليه السلام ) وَ فَاطِمَةَ وَ الْحَسَنَ وَ الْحُسَيْنَ وَ جَرَتْ بَعْدَهُمْ فِي الْأَئِمَّةِ ( عليهم السلام ) ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ الْقَوْلُ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي النَّاسِ فَقَالَ فَإِنْ آمَنُوا يَعْنِي النَّاسَ بِمِثْلِ ما آمَنْتُمْ بِهِ يَعْنِي عَلِيّاً وَ فَاطِمَةَ وَ الْحَسَنَ وَ الْحُسَيْنَ وَ الْأَئِمَّةَ ( عليهم السلام ) فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوْا وَ إِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّما هُمْ فِي شِقاقٍ .

محمد بن یحییٰ، احمد بن محمد سے، وہ حسن بن محبوب سے، وہ محمد بن نعمان سے، وہ سلام سے، وہ ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے، ان کے، بلند و برتر کے، اس قول کے بارے میں: کہو: ہم اللہ پر اور اس پر ایمان لائے جو ہماری طرف نازل کیا گیا ہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: اس سے مراد صرف علی علیہ السلام، اور فاطمہ، اور حسن، اور حسین تھے، اور ان کے بعد ائمہ علیہم السلام میں یہ سلسلہ جاری رہا۔ پھر اللہ کی طرف سے لوگوں کے بارے میں خطاب لوٹ آتا ہے، تو اس نے فرمایا: “پس اگر وہ ایمان لائیں” یعنی لوگ، “اس جیسی چیز میں جس پر تم ایمان لائے ہو” یعنی علی، اور فاطمہ، اور حسن، اور حسین، اور ائمہ عليهم السلام، “پھر وہ یقیناً ہدایت پا گئے؛ اور اگر وہ منہ موڑ لیں، تو وہ صرف اختلاف میں ہیں۔”
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Muhammad Bin Al Numan, from Sallam, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of the Exalted <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h136"><a href="/books/quran:2#h136">[2:136]</a></a> Say: We believe in Allah and (in) that which had been Revealed unto us</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘But rather it Means by that, Ali<sup>asws</sup>, and (Syeda) Fatima<sup>asws</sup>, and Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, and Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup>, and it flows after them<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Imams<sup>asws</sup>. Then the Words returned from Allah<sup>azwj</sup> regarding the people, so He<sup>azwj</sup> Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h137"><a href="/books/quran:2#h137">[2:137]</a></a> So if they </span>– Meaning the people - <span class="ibTxt">were to believe as you believe in Him </span>– Meaning Ali<sup>asws</sup>, and (Syeda) Fatima<sup>asws</sup> and Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> and Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> and the Imams<sup>asws</sup> -<span class="ibTxt"> they would have been Guided on the right course, and if they were to turn back, then they are only in strife</span>’.
