فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَكاتِبُوهُمْ إِنْ عَلِمْتُمْ فِيهِمْ خَيْراً وَ آتُوهُمْ مِنْ مالِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي آتاكُمْ قَالَ تَضَعُ عَنْهُ مِنْ نُجُومِهِ الَّتِي لَمْ تَكُنْ تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَنْقُصَهُ مِنْهَا وَ لَا تَزِيدُ فَوْقَ مَا فِي نَفْسِكَ فَقُلْتُ كَمْ فَقَالَ وَضَعَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ مَمْلُوكِهِ أَلْفاً مِنْ سِتَّةِ آلَافٍ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Al A’ala Bin Al Fuzayl, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> havaing said regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:24#h33"><a href="/books/quran:24#h33">[24:33]</a></a> give them the writing if you know any good in them, and give them of the wealth of Allah which He has Given you</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There would be placed aside from him, from his installment which he did not want to be reduced from it, and it would not exceed about what in yourself’. So I said, ‘How much?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> placed aside from his<sup>asws</sup> owned slave, a thousand from six thousand’.
