قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَوْلُهُ جَلَّ وَ عَزَّ بَلْ تُؤْثِرُونَ الْحَياةَ الدُّنْيا قَالَ وَلَايَتَهُمْ وَ الْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ وَ أَبْقى قَالَ وَلَايَةُ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ هذا لَفِي الصُّحُفِ الْأُولى. صُحُفِ إِبْراهِيمَ وَ مُوسى .

الحسین بن محمد، معلیٰ بن محمد سے، وہ عبداللہ بن ادریس سے، وہ محمد بن سنان سے، وہ المفضل بن عمر سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبداللہ (عليه السلام) سے کہا: اس کے، جو غالب اور بزرگ ہے، اس قول کی: “بلکہ تم دنیا کی زندگی کو ترجیح دیتے ہو۔” انہوں نے (عليه السلام) فرمایا: “ان کی ولایت۔” “اور آخرت بہتر اور زیادہ باقی رہنے والی ہے۔” انہوں نے (عليه السلام) فرمایا: “امیر المؤمنین (عليه السلام) کی ولایت۔” “بے شک یہ پہلے صحیفوں میں ہے، ابراہیم اور موسیٰ کے صحیفوں میں۔”
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Abdullah Bin Idrees, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Al Mufazzal Bin Umar who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>. (What about) the Words of the Majestic and Mighty <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:87#h16"><a href="/books/quran:87#h16">[87:16]</a></a> Nay! you are preferring the life of the world</span>. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Their Wilayah <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:87#h17"><a href="/books/quran:87#h17">[87:17]</a></a> While the hereafter is better and more lasting</span>. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Wilayah of Amir Al-Momineen<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>. <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:87#h18"><a href="/books/quran:87#h18">[87:18]</a></a> Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, <a href="/#/books/quran:87#h19"><a href="/books/quran:87#h19">[87:19]</a></a> The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa</span>’.
