كَلْبُ الْمَجُوسِيِّ لَا تَأْكُلْ صَيْدَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْخُذَهُ الْمُسْلِمُ فَيُعَلِّمَهُ وَ يُرْسِلَهُ وَ كَذَلِكَ الْبَازِي وَ كِلَابُ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ وَ بُزَاتُهُمْ حَلَالٌ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ أَنْ يَأْكُلُوا صَيْدَهَا .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے النوفلی سے، انہوں نے السکونی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپؑ نے فرمایا: 'مجوسی کے کتے کا شکار مت کھاؤ، سوائے اس کے کہ مسلمان اسے لے لے، پھر اسے تربیت دے اور شکار کے لیے چھوڑے۔ اسی طرح باز کا بھی حکم ہے۔ اور اہل ذمہ کے کتوں اور ان کے بازوں کا شکار مسلمانوں کے لیے حلال ہے۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘A dog of the Magians, do not eat its prey, except if the Muslim takes it, so he trains it and sends it (to hunt); and similar to that is the falcon, and a dog of the <span class="iTxt">Ahl Al-Zimma</span> (People under the responsibility), and their falcons are Permissible for the Muslims that they should be eating their prey’.
