مَا أَخَذَتِ الْحِبَالَةُ فَقَطَعَتْ مِنْهُ شَيْئاً فَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ وَ مَا أَدْرَكْتَ مِنْ سَائِرِ جَسَدِهِ حَيّاً فَذَكِّهِ ثُمَّ كُلْ مِنْهُ .

حمید بن زیاد نے حسن بن محمد بن سماعہ سے، انہوں نے ایک سے زیادہ افراد سے، انہوں نے ابان بن عثمان سے، انہوں نے عبد الرحمن بن ابی عبد اللہ سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: جو چیز پھندے نے پکڑی اور اس سے کچھ کاٹ دیا، وہ مردہ ہے (کھانا حرام)؛ لیکن جو تم اس کے باقی جسم سے زندہ حالت میں پاؤ، تو اسے ذبح کرو، پھر کھاؤ۔
Translation
Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from someone else, from Aban Bin Usman, from Abdul Rahman Bin Abu Abdullah, Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> has said: ‘What the snare seizes, so something is cut off from it, so it is dead, and what you come to from the rest of its body as alive, so purify (slaughter) it, then eat from it’.
