سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ ذَبَحَ ذَبِيحَةً فَجَهِلَ أَنْ يُوَجِّهَهَا إِلَى الْقِبْلَةِ قَالَ كُلْ مِنْهَا فَقُلْتُ لَهُ فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يُوَجِّهْهَا قَالَ فَلَا تَأْكُلْ مِنْهَا وَ لَا تَأْكُلْ مِنْ ذَبِيحَةٍ مَا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَلَيْهَا وَ قَالَ ( عليه السلام ) إِذَا أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَذْبَحَ فَاسْتَقْبِلْ بِذَبِيحَتِكَ الْقِبْلَةَ .

میں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے ایک ایسے شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جس نے جانور ذبح کیا لیکن وہ نہیں جانتا تھا کہ اسے قبلہ رخ کرنا چاہیے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: 'اس سے کھاؤ۔' تو میں نے ان سے کہا: 'اگر اس نے قصداً اسے قبلہ رخ نہیں کیا؟' آپ نے فرمایا: 'تو اس سے مت کھاؤ، اور کسی بھی ایسے ذبیحہ سے مت کھاؤ جس پر اللہ عزوجل کا نام نہ لیا گیا ہو۔' اور آپ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: 'جب تم ذبح کرنا چاہو تو اپنے ذبیحہ کو قبلہ رخ کرو۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Umar Bin Azina, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘I asked Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> about a man who slaughtered an animal, so he was ignorant that he had to face towards the Qiblah. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Eat from it’. So I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘So if he (intentionally) does not face it (towards the Qiblah)’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘So do not eat from it, and do not eat from a slaughtered animal what he had not mentioned the Name of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic upon it’. And he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When you intend to slaughter, so face the Qibalh with your animal’.
