سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ ذَبِيحَةِ الْغُلَامِ قَالَ إِذَا قَوِيَ عَلَى الذَّبْحِ وَ كَانَ يُحْسِنُ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ وَ ذَكَرَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا فَكُلْ قَالَ وَ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَبِيحَةِ الْمَرْأَةِ فَقَالَ إِذَا كَانَتْ مُسْلِمَةً فَذَكَرَتِ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا فَكُلْ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Haroun Bin Muslim, from Mas’ada Bin Sadaqa who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> was asked about a slaughter by a boy. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When he is strong upon the slaughtered animal, and is good at slaughtering it, and mentioned the Name of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> over it, so eat’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And he<sup>asws</sup> was asked about a slaughter by a woman, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When she was a Muslim, so she mentioned the Name of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> over it, so eat’.
