سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ ذَبَائِحِ الْيَهُودِ وَ النَّصَارَى فَقَالَ الذَّبِيحَةُ اسْمٌ وَ لَا يُؤْمَنُ عَلَى الِاسْمِ إِلَّا مُسْلِمٌ .
Translation
From him, from Ibn Sinan, from Quteyba Al A’asha who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the slaughters of the Jews and the Christians. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The slaughter is Naming (<span class="iTxt">Bismillah</span>), and none can be relied upon for the Naming (<span class="iTxt">Bismillah</span>) except a Muslim’.
