قَيِّدُوهُ وَ اعْلِفُوهُ الْكُسْبَ وَ النَّوَى وَ الشَّعِيرَ وَ الْخُبْزَ إِنْ كَانَ اسْتَغْنَى عَنِ اللَّبَنِ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنِ اسْتَغْنَى عَنِ اللَّبَنِ فَيُلْقَى عَلَى ضَرْعِ شَاةٍ سَبْعَةَ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ يُؤْكَلُ لَحْمُهُ.

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے نوفلی سے، انہوں نے سکونی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ امیر المؤمنین علیہ السلام سے ایک ایسے بچے بکرے کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا جسے سؤنی کے دودھ سے پالا گیا تھا۔ تو آپ نے فرمایا: اسے باندھ دو اور اسے کھلی، گٹھلیاں، جو اور روٹی کھلاؤ اگر وہ دودھ سے بے نیاز ہو گیا ہو۔ لیکن اگر وہ دودھ سے بے نیاز نہیں ہوا تو اسے سات دن تک ایک بکری کے تھن سے لگا دو، پھر اس کا گوشت کھایا جا سکتا ہے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> was asked about a baby goat sustained by the milk of a female pig. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Confine it, and feed it the produce, and the kernels, and the barley, and the bread, if it was needless from the milk. So if it was not needless from the milk, so attach it to the udder of a sheep for seven days, then eat from its flesh’.
