قَالَ لِي أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ نَحْنُ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ اقْرَأْ فَإِنَّهَا لَيْلَةُ الْجُمُعَةِ قُرْآناً فَقَرَأْتُ إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيقاتُهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ. يَوْمَ لا يُغْنِي مَوْلًى عَنْ مَوْلًى شَيْئاً وَ لا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ. إِلَّا مَنْ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ فَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) نَحْنُ وَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي رَحِمَ اللَّهُ وَ نَحْنُ وَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي اسْتَثْنَى اللَّهُ لَكِنَّا نُغْنِي عَنْهُمْ .

احمد بن میہران، عبد العظیم بن عبد اللہ الحسنی سے، وہ علی بن اسباط سے، وہ ابراہیم بن عبد الحمید سے، وہ زید الشحام سے، انہوں نے کہا: ابو عبداللہ (عليه السلام) نے مجھ سے فرمایا، جب ہم جمعہ کی رات راستے میں تھے: “پڑھو، کیونکہ یہ جمعہ کی رات ہے، قرآن۔” پس میں نے پڑھا: “بے شک فیصلے کا دن ان سب کے لیے مقررہ وقت ہے۔ وہ دن جب کوئی سرپرست دوسرے سرپرست کے کچھ بھی کام نہ آئے گا، اور نہ وہ مدد دیے جائیں گے، سوائے اس کے جس پر اللہ رحم فرمائے۔” پھر ابو عبداللہ (عليه السلام) نے فرمایا: “اللہ کی قسم، ہم ہی وہ ہیں جن پر اللہ نے رحم فرمایا، اور اللہ کی قسم، ہم ہی وہ ہیں جنہیں اللہ نے مستثنیٰ کیا؛ بلکہ ہم ان کی طرف سے نفع پہنچاتے ہیں۔”
Translation
Ahmad Bin Mihran, from Abdul Azeem Bin Abdullah Al Hassany, from Ali Bin Asbat, from Ibrahim Bin Abdul Hameed, from Zayd Al Shahham who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said to me and we were in the road during the night of Friday: ‘Recite the Quran, for it is a night of Friday’. So I recited <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:44#h40"><a href="/books/quran:44#h40">[44:40]</a></a> Surely the Day of separation is their appointed term, of all of them <a href="/#/books/quran:44#h41"><a href="/books/quran:44#h41">[44:41]</a></a> The Day on which a friend shall not avail (his) friend aught, nor shall they be helped, <a href="/#/books/quran:44#h42"><a href="/books/quran:44#h42">[44:42]</a></a> Except those on whom Allah shall have Mercy</span>. So Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘We<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, by Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, are those on whom Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> has Mercy, and we, by Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, are those whom Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> has Made to be exception, in order for us<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> to make them (Shias) needless from them (rest of the people)’.
