قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَوْ أَنَّ مُؤْمِناً دَعَانِي إِلَى طَعَامِ ذِرَاعِ شَاةٍ لَأَجَبْتُهُ وَ كَانَ ذَلِكَ مِنَ الدِّينِ وَ لَوْ أَنَّ مُشْرِكاً أَوْ مُنَافِقاً دَعَانِي إِلَى طَعَامِ جَزُورٍ مَا أَجَبْتُهُ وَ كَانَ ذَلِكَ مِنَ الدِّينِ أَبَى اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لِي زَبْدَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَ الْمُنَافِقِينَ وَ طَعَامَهُمْ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibrahim Al Karkhy who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘If a Believer were to invite me<sup>saww</sup> to a meal of an arm of a sheep, I<sup>saww</sup> would answer him, and that would be from the Religion; and if a Polytheist or a hypocrite were to invite me<sup>saww</sup> to a meal of a (whole) camel, I<sup>saww</sup> would not answer him, and that would be from the Religion (as well). Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Refused me<sup>saww</sup> the scum of the Polytheists and the hypocrites and their meals’.
