Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Al Sayyari, from Ubeyd Bin Abu Abdullah Al Baghdady, from the one who informed him, said, ‘A guest had lodge with Abu Al-Hassan Al-Rezaasws, and was seated in hisasws presence discussing with himasws in one of the nights. So the lantern dimmed, and the man extended his hand to correct it. So Abu Al-Hassanasws stopped him, then attended to it himselfasws, so heasws corrected it. Then heasws said to him: ‘Weasws are a people who do not make ourasws gests to serve’.
