كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِذَا أَكَلَ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ وَ آخِرَ مَنْ يَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الْقَوْمُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ash’ary, from Ibn Al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Whenever Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> used to eat with the people, was the first one to place his<sup>saww</sup> hand with the people and the last one to raise it, until the people had eaten’.
