إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ الْمُسْلِمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَطْعَمَ طَعَاماً فَأَهْوَى بِيَدِهِ فَقَالَ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ غَفَرَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَصِلَ اللُّقْمَةُ إِلَى فِيهِ .
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan, from kuleyb Al Asady, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The Muslim man, when he intends to eat food, so he extends his hand, so he says, ‘In the Name of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> and the Praise is for Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Lord<sup>azwj</sup> of the Worlds’, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Forgives for him before the morsel arrives to his mouth’.
