John Shaqi

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) مَنْ ذَكَرَ اسْمَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عِنْدَ طَعَامٍ أَوْ شَرَابٍ فِي أَوَّلِهِ وَ حَمِدَ اللَّهَ فِي آخِرِهِ لَمْ يُسْأَلْ عَنْ نَعِيمِ ذَلِكَ الطَّعَامِ أَبَداً .


Translation

And from him, from his father, from the one who narrated it, from Abdul Rahman Al Azramy, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The one who mentioned Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic during a meal, or drink, at the beginning of it, and Praises Allah<sup>azwj</sup> during its end, would not be Questioned about that Bounty of the meal, ever!’
