John Shaqi

ا قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنْ قُمْتُ عَلَى رُءُوسِكُمْ وَ أَنْتُمْ تَأْكُلُونَ فَلَا تَقُومُوا حَتَّى تَفْرُغُوا وَ لَرُبَّمَا دَعَا بَعْضَنَا فَيُقَالُ لَهُ هُمْ يَأْكُلُونَ فَيَقُولُ دَعْهُمْ حَتَّى يَفْرُغُوا .


Translation

From him, from Nuh Bin Shuayb, from Yasser Al Khadim, and Nadir, altogether said, ‘Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> said to us: ‘If I<sup>asws</sup> was standing over your heads, and you all are eating, so do not get up until you are free (from eating)’. And sometimes he<sup>asws</sup> would call one of us, so it would be said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘They are eating’, so he<sup>asws</sup> saying to them: ‘Leave them until they are free’.
