John Shaqi

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِيَّاكُمْ أَنْ تَشَمُّوا الْخُبْزَ كَمَا تَشَمُّهُ السِّبَاعُ فَإِنَّ الْخُبْزَ مُبَارَكٌ أَرْسَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَهُ السَّمَاءَ مِدْرَاراً وَ لَهُ أَنْبَتَ اللَّهُ الْمَرْعَى وَ بِهِ صَلَّيْتُمْ وَ بِهِ صُمْتُمْ وَ بِهِ حَجَجْتُمْ بَيْتَ رَبِّكُمْ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Beware of smelling the bread just as you smell the wild animals smell it, for the bread is Blessed. Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic has Commanded the sky for it for torrential downpour, and for Allah<sup>azwj</sup> has Grown the meadows, and by it you are Praying, and by it you are Fasting, and by it you are performing the Hajj of the House of your Lord<sup>azwj</sup>’.
