قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا تَقْطَعُوا الْخُبْزَ بِالسِّكِّينِ وَ لَكِنِ اكْسِرُوهُ بِالْيَدِ وَ لْيُكْسَرْ لَكُمْ خَالِفُوا الْعَجَمَ .
Translation
Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, from Muhammad Bin Jamhour, from Idrees Bin Yusuf, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘do not cut the bread with the knife, but break it with the hand, and let your breaking be opposite to that of the non-Arabs’.
