John Shaqi

نِعْمَ الْقُوتُ السَّوِيقُ إِنْ كُنْتَ جَائِعاً أَمْسَكَ وَ إِنْ كُنْتَ شَبْعَاناً [شَبْعَانَ] هَضَمَ طَعَامَكَ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Abu Hamman, form Suleyman Al Ja’fary, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The best sustenance is Al-Suweyq; if you were hungry it stays, and if you were satiated, it would digest the food’.
