ذَكَرَ بَعْضُنَا اللُّحْمَانَ عِنْدَ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ مَا لَحْمٌ بِأَطْيَبَ مِنْ لَحْمِ الْمَاعِزِ قَالَ فَنَظَرَ إِلَيْهِ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ قَالَ لَوْ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مُضْغَةً هِيَ أَطْيَبُ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ لَفَدَى بِهَا إِسْمَاعِيلَ ( عليه السلام ) .
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from one of his companions I think it was Muhammad Bin Ismail, who said, ‘One of us mentioned two (kinds of) meat in the presence of Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup>, so he said: ‘What meat is better than the meat of the goat?’ He (the narrator) said, ‘So Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> looked at him and said: ‘Had Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Created a chewy morsel which is better than the lamb, so it would have been sacrificed for Ismail<sup>as</sup>’.
