قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي الثَّرْدِ وَ الثَّرِيدِ قَالَ جَعْفَرٌ الثَّرْدُ مَا صَغُرَ وَ الثَّرِيدُ مَا كَبُرَ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ash’ary, from Ibn Al Qaddah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The Prophet<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Bless for my<sup>saww</sup> community regarding <span class="iTxt">Al-Sard</span> and <span class="iTxt">Al-Sareyd</span>’. Ja’far (the narrator) said, ‘<span class="iTxt">Al-Sard</span> is what is small, and <span class="iTxt">Al-Sareyd </span>is what is big’.
