Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Yahya Bin Ibrahim Bin Abu Al Balaad, from his father, from Al Waleed Bin Sabeeh who said, ‘Abu Abdullahasws said: ‘Which thing do you feed your family in the winter?’ I said, ‘The meat. So when there does not happen to be the meat, so the oil, and the butter’. Heasws said: ‘So what is preventing you from this ‘<span class="iTxt">Karkour’</span>, for it is one of the matters in the body, meaning the trio’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And one of our companions informed me that the trio is taken as a <span class="iTxt">Qafiz</span> (Unit of measurement) of rice, and a <span class="iTxt">Qafiz </span>of Humus, and a <span class="iTxt">Qafiz</span> of broad beans, or something else from the seeds, then mixed and cooked’.
