Translation
Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Yunus Bin Yaqoub, from Suleyman Bin Khalid who said, ‘I was present at a dinner of Abu Abdullahasws in the summer, so they came with a platter upon which was bread, and they came with a bowl of <span class="iTxt">Sareyd</span>, and meat. So heasws said: ‘Come closer to me for this food’. So I approached, and heasws touched it with hisasws hand, and raised it and heasws was saying: ‘Iasws seek Protection with Allahazwj from the Fire, Iasws seek Refuge with Allahazwj from the Fire, Iasws seek Refuge with Allahazwj from the Fire. This is what we cannot be patient upon, so how (can we be patient upon) the Fire. This is what we do not have the strength upon (to bear), so how (can we bear) the Fire. This is what we cannot endure, so how (can we endure) the Fire?’ He (the narrator) said: ‘Heasws kept on repeating mentioning that until it was possible (to eat) the food, so heasws ate and I ate with himasws’.
