سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ جَاءَ قَطُّ إِلَّا بِمَعْرِفَةِ حَقِّنَا وَ تَفْضِيلِنَا عَلَى مَنْ سِوَانَا .

محمد بن یحییٰ، عبداللہ بن محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، وہ محمد بن عبدالحمید سے، وہ یونس بن یعقوب سے، وہ عبد الاعلیٰ سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا عبداللہ علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: “کوئی نبی ایسا نہیں آیا مگر یہ کہ وہ ہمارے حق کی معرفت اور ہم پر ہمارے سوا تمام لوگوں کے مقابلے میں ہماری فضیلت کے ساتھ آیا۔”
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Hameed, from Yunus Bin Yaqoub, from Abdul A’ala who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘There is none from a Prophet<sup>saww</sup> who came except with recognition of our<sup>asws</sup> rights and our<sup>asws</sup> merits over the ones besides us<sup>asws</sup>’.
