قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) نِعْمَ الْإِدَامُ الْخَلُّ يَكْسِرُ الْمِرَّةَ وَ يُطْفِئُ الصَّفْرَاءَ وَ يُحْيِي الْقَلْبَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from one of our companions, from Abdullah Bin Abdul Rahman Al Samma, from Shuayb, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The best of the sauces is the vinegar, it breaks the bitterness, and extinguishes the paleness, and revives the heart’.
