قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) لَعْقُ الْعَسَلِ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بُطُونِها شَرابٌ مُخْتَلِفٌ أَلْوانُهُ فِيهِ شِفاءٌ لِلنَّاسِ وَ هُوَ مَعَ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ وَ مَضْغِ اللُّبَانِ يُذِيبُ الْبَلْغَمَ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Qasim Bin Yahya, from his grandfather Al Hassan Bin Rashid, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Licking the honey is a healing from every illness. Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Says <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:16#h69"><a href="/books/quran:16#h69">[16:69]</a></a> There comes forth from its belly a beverage of many colours, in which there is healing for the people</span>, and it is with the recitation of the Quran and chewing frankincense<a id="_ftnref1478"></a><sup>[1478]</sup> melts the phlegm’.
