مَا قُدِّمَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) طَعَامٌ فِيهِ تَمْرٌ إِلَّا بَدَأَ بِالتَّمْرِ .
Translation
From him, from his father, from Ibn Sinan, from Ibrahim Bin Mihzam, from Anbasa Bin Bajad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Never was a meal presented to Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> in which were dates, except that he<sup>saww</sup> began with the dates’.
