Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al Hajjal, from Abu Suleyman Al Hammar who said, ‘We were in the presence of Abu Abdullahasws, so they came to us with <span class="iTxt">Mazeyra</span> (a sauce), and food after it. Then we were given a basket of dates upon which were a variety of these. So heasws went on to take with hisasws hand one after the other, and heasws was saying: ‘Which thing do you call this one?’ So we said such and such, until heasws he took (another) one, so heasws said: ‘So what are you calling this one?’ So we said, ‘<span class="iTxt">Al-Mushan’</span>. So heasws said: ‘We call it <span class="iTxt">Umm Jirzan</span>, and that Rasool-Allahsaww was given something from it, so hesaww ate from it, and supplicated for it, therefore there is nothing from the palm trees which is more fruit-bearing than it’.
