Al-Kafi 11970

Translation

Muhammad Bin yahya, from Musa Bin Al Hassan, from one of his companions, from Ibn Baqqah, from Haroun Bin Al Khattab, from Abu Al Hassan Al Rassan who said, ‘I was grazing my sheep in a road of Al-Khowrnak, so I saw a group of people walking over. So I inclined towards one who was with them and I said, ‘Who are they?’ So he said, ‘Ja’far^asws Bin Muhammad^asws and Abdullah Bin Al-Hassan. They are both being taken to Al-Mansour’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So, I asked about them afterwards, and it was said to me, ‘They have lodged at Al-Hira. So, I rose early in order to greet them. So, I went over and there were baskets in front of them in which were dates which had been gifted to them from Al-Kufa and were uncovered in front of them. So, Ja’far^asws Bin Muhammad^asws extended his^asws hand, so he^asws ate and said to me: ‘Eat’. Then he^asws said to Abdullah Bin Al-Hassan: ‘O Abu Muhammad! What is your view, how good are these dates?’ Then Ja’far^asws Bin Muhammad^asws turned around towards me, so he^asws said to me: ‘O people of Al-Kufa! You have been preferred over the people in the foods with three – Your fishes, this <span class="iTxt">Al-Bunany</span>; and your grapes, this <span class="iTxt">Al-Raziqy</span>; and your dates, this <span class="iTxt">Al-Mushan</span>’.
