Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws having said: ‘Ja’farasws Bin Abu Talibas was in the presence of the Prophetsaww and heas gifted a Quince to the Prophetsaww. So the Prophetsaww cut off a piece from it and gave it to Ja’faras, but heas refused to eat it (out of respect). So hesaww said: ‘Take it, and eat it, for it purifies the heart, and emboldens the timid’. And in another report: ‘(Hesaww said): ‘Eat, for it clears the colour and improves the child birth’.
