Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam and Al Washa altogether from Ali Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I had a guest with me, so he desired to eat the Citron with honey, so I fed it to him, and I ate with him. Then I went to Abu Abdullahasws and there was a meal on the table in front of himasws. So heasws said to me: ‘Approach, and eat’. So I said, ‘I have eaten before coming to youasws, Citron with honey, and I still find its heaviness as I ate a lot from it’. So heasws said: ‘O slave, go to the maid and say to her to send to us the dry pieces of bread from the ones she dries in the oven’. So he came with it, and heasws said to me: ‘Eat this dry bread for it would digest the Citron’. So I ate it. Then I arose, and it was as if I had not eaten anything’.
