دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ( عليه السلام ) وَ هُوَ بِمَكَّةَ وَ هُوَ يُقَشِّرُ مَوْزاً وَ يُطْعِمُهُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) فَقُلْتُ لَهُ جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ هَذَا الْمَوْلُودُ الْمُبَارَكُ قَالَ نَعَمْ يَا يَحْيَى هَذَا الْمَوْلُودُ الَّذِي لَمْ يُولَدْ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ مِثْلُهُ مَوْلُودٌ أَعْظَمُ بَرَكَةً عَلَى شِيعَتِنَا مِنْهُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ali Bin Asbaat, from Yahya Al Sana’any who said, ‘I went over to Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup> and he<sup>asws</sup> was at Makkah, and he<sup>asws</sup> was peeling a banana and feeding it to Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> (9th Imam<sup>asws</sup>). So I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! Is this the new-born, the Blessed?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, O Yahya! This is the new-born the like of whom has not been born in Al-Islam, a birth of great Blessings upon our<sup>asws</sup> Shias from him<sup>asws</sup>’.
